Unnecessary processes are injurious to creativity. We believe this creates an unhealthy environment where teams are trying to get around the “rules” vs focusing on making the finest movie possible.
We do not believe in any goals that have a 'number' in it. At New Zealand Motion Pictures, the only goal we have is to tell stories with meaningful films that people around the world could watch for years and that are remembered for generations.

Secrecy is like a religion at New Zealand Motion Pictures. It's baked deeply into the DNA and culture of our company. Sounds scary, however it's more out of respect for the teams that are working tirelessly on creating original content for the people.
